The joy of making music together is written all over the faces of these four friends whenever they step onto the stage. Their music is a blend of boogie-woogie, blues, and early rock 'n' roll. Almost forgotten by the musical mainstream, these swinging, infectious rhythms had been lying dormant—until awakened by Axel Zwingenberger, the doyen of European boogie pianists, and Ben Waters, a versatile English pianist who caught the "boogie bug" after watching a BBC documentary. The three musicians who now play alongside him had jammed so wildly in the studio back then that he decided to make boogie-woogie his own musical calling. Charlie Watts—the rhythmic heart of the Rolling Stones—and Dave Green have known each other since childhood and grew up making music together. They love the blues and lay the rhythmic foundation for this special lesson in the ABCs of music. They improvise together, and every evening unfolds spontaneously—culminating in a grand finale jam session—much to the audience's delight! It is precisely this atmosphere that was captured on the album *Live in Paris*—let yourself get swept up in the music!
