The joy of making music together is written all over the faces of these four friends whenever they take the stage. Boogie Woogie, Blues and early Rock 'n' Roll are their passion. Almost forgotten by the musical mainstream, these swinging, infectious rhythms have been lying dormant like Sleeping Beauty – until being brought back to life by Axel Zwingenberger, the grand master of European Boogie Woogie piano, and Ben Waters, a versatile pianist from England who caught the Boogie Woogie bug after watching a BBC television documentary. His three fellow musicians had been jamming so passionately in the studio that Waters decided to make Boogie Woogie his own musical calling. Charlie Watts, the rhythmic heartbeat of the Rolling Stones, and Dave Green have known each other since childhood and grew up making music together. Sharing a deep love of the Blues, they provide the rhythmic foundation for this very special lesson in the ABCs of Boogie Woogie. Together, the musicians improvise freely, making every performance a spontaneous adventure that builds towards a grand finale – much to the delight of the audience! This is exactly the atmosphere captured on the CD »Live in Paris« – let the music sweep you away!

Recorded live in September 2010 at the »Duc des Lombards« in Paris.
