LP Boogie Woogie Dimensions [LP]

Also available on CD

Two great concert grand pianos, fuelled by the eight-to-the bar beat of Boogie Woogie: you’ll hear new dimensions of joy of playing, improvisational spirit and friendly duels at the keys, which make it impossible to sit still!

Two piano legends are passing balls musically in a congenial way: Axel Zwingenberger, THE international institution of Boogie Woogie, and Joja Wendt, the comprehensively brilliant keyboard virtuoso with deep roots in this wild, driving as well as deeply emotional world of expression, which is born from the Blues.

With „Boogie Woogie Dimensions“, Axel and Joja have set a monument of their joint passion. All tunes, most of them originals, which were spontaneously created during the recordings, are marked by their exceptional, stylish inventiveness. By this, the joy of life is awakened in perfect harmony from tender, lyrical Blues sounds up to furious musical chases on 88 keys in double formation.

There are no technical tricks, double bottoms or correctional delusion: all tunes are recorded as you hear them on CD and LP, without cuts, overdubbing or directional influences. Just as authentical, as the great pioneers of Blues and Boogie Woogie have always done it. Axel Zwingenberger and Joja Wendt convey new shine to this fascinating musical world.

Indulge in „Boogie Woogie Dimensions“: swinging joy is guaranteed!
